Human Response 821: Call upon God three Times a Day

Psalm 55:16-17 As for me, I will call upon God, and the Lord shall save me. Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud, and he shall hear my voice.

Every day the troubles of life and the problems of living beset us. Our response is to pray and call upon the Lord. He will hear my voice and save me. To signify that we “pray without ceasing” we purposely set aside time for talking to God three times a day, at night before bed, in the morning when we wake up, and at least once during midday we pause to call on God. Whether we are responding to a present need or not, we pray three times a day to also prevent troublous times.

Faith and regular prayer sees us through, for the Lord is always there to hear us and save us. Faith comes from hearing the Gospel and responds to the everlasting gospel with prayer and maintenance of a loving relationship with God. The praying three times a day is a good example for Christians to follow.
