Psalm 138:1-2 I will praise thee with my whole heart: before the gods i will sing praises unto thee. I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thee for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.
As a response to God’s character and His thoughts toward us all the time, we will praise the Lord with a whole heart. We will sing praises in front of the gods, the false gods and demons. We will worship toward His holy presence. We will praise Him for His grace and truth. John 1:17: “The law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.” For this we sing praises and worship the Lord all day long.
God is love and always shows lovingkindness to us in Christ Jesus. We respond to that wonderful truth with praise and worship. His mercy endures forever and His loves is stronger than death. We can do nothing to overcome sin and death, but we praise God for being love and thank Him for showing that love in Christ by overcoming sin, death, and the devil. The Son (the Word) is magnified above all for our good.
